Philosophy
Dr. Tobin Schneider approaches medicine as both a treatment provider and an educator. He takes special care to minimize fear and provide information so a patient can make good decisions. Hemorrhoid treatments have come a long way, and Dr. Schneider wants to make sure that there is no mystery or anxiety on your part.
Dr. Schneider loves his job. He is proud to be able to take an intimidating, even embarrassing condition and help patients see the light at the end of the tunnel. During his many years in private practice, Dr. Schneider has made each patient a priority. There are no “hand-offs” in his office: Dr. Schneider personally conducts every minute of each in-office visit himself. Each patient is sure to receive his full attention.
Dr. Schneider understands that you may be anxious and in pain. You may have heard false claims about easy fixes. When you visit Dr. Schneider, he will explain real options in easy-to-understand language. His goal is to help you feel at ease, and from that you will realize that there’s no reason to be afraid.

Dr. Schneider graduated from Harvard Medical School, and was the Chief Resident in Surgery at Stanford University Hospital. In 1988, Dr. Schneider founded his private practice, dedicated to helping patients with a personal approach, one at a time. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, recognized worldwide and founded in 1937.
